Reduction of food waste throughout the whole food supply chain. The key targets are:
• Study on definitions, system boundaries and methodology in relation to the FUSIONS project. • Study on food waste in primary production including gathering information from studies already made.
• Four food waste studies on specific food items in four countries. All four case studies will focus on food waste in primary production and the root causes for this food waste.
