Tavoitteet

CEDERS is aiming at improving the national greenhouse gas emission inventory with emphasis on the effect of dietary measures on enteric and manure emissions and their trade-offs from ruminant production systems.

Tuotokset

The project output include a) refinement of methodologies to estimate the effect of dietary measures on different on-farm GHG emissions, b) identifying relationships between dietary factors and GHG emissions, c) providing country-specific recommendations on how to capture and account for the consequences of dietary measures on GHG emissions with on-farm accounting tools and national GHG inventory methodologies d) Providing guidelines for non-partner countries for accounting GHG emissions.
