Producer Prices of Agricultural Products, 3/2023 (provisional)

Prices for all main cereals continued to fall. Cereals prices were well below those in the corresponding month of 2022. For all livestock products, prices were well above the corresponding month of the previous year.

 

Producer prices of March 2023 compared to the same month a year before, and the previous month (in parentehses):

  • the price of milk on average: +26 % (+0,3 %)
  • the price of bull meat: +24 % (+2,3 %)
  • the price of pork (fattening pigs): +26 % (-0,1 %)
  • the price of eggs from caged hens: +33 % (+0,5 %)
  • the price of eggs from barn hens: +35 % (+0,4 %)
  • the price of bread wheat: -17 % (-5,9 %)
  • the price of feed barley: -18 % (-7,4 %)
  • the price of oats: -18 % (-6,8 %)
  • the price of food potatoes: +4 % (+1,6 %).

For to year 2022, the milk adjustment payment was 1.77 cents per litre. The statistics can be found in the annual price table for milk.

Statistics on producer price of milk have changed from March 2022. The price of class-E normmilk includes paid supplement for animal welfare.
