Genes in change: novel approaches for gene conservation of forest trees

The first objective of the project is to resolve whether tree populations at the Northern geographic margins are genetically eroded, locally adapted or both.
The second objective is to improve methodology for gene conservation of forest trees at the Northern margin.
Results will be published in peer reviewed journals.
