Goals

Fur chewing is an economical and putatively also a welfare problem in blue foxes farmed for their fur. Our project studies mechanisms of development and causation of, and opportunities to prevent fur chewing. The research methods include a survey to fox farmers, field studies and studies on an experimental fox farm.

Outputs

“An Action Plan for Reducing Fur Chewing in Blue Foxes” for the fox farmers and scientific papers.
