Leaching of nutrients from cultivated peat soils

TuRa

Runoff data from drained field plots on a sedge peat soil is analyzed and published. Four experiments were run on the experimental field in 1983-2000. The effect of spring cereals, perennial grasses, mineral and organic fertilization and fallow on the leaching of nutrients was measured. The data will be analyzed experiment by experiment, and also as a 20-year continuum in order to find phenomena that affect leaching.
