Goals

The aim of the project is to aid in choosing the forage
options which are optimal from both environmental and production point of view. The other aim of this project is to find out the benefits and drawbacks related to maize cultivation and
use in feeding.

Outputs

-Evaluation of environmental effects of forage choices (grass, maize, whole crop cereals and grain legumes).
-Recommendations for selecting maize variety, for use of mulch material, nitrogen fertilization and use of silage additives. Milk production effect of maize silage.
