The aim of this project is to isolate and determine the secondary metabolites produced by the host against fungal infection n resinous cankers caused by Cronartium rusts.
As a result, a list of chemicals is produced that can be further tested against other plant and human pathogens and possibly utilized in chemical or medical industry in the future.
