Onions to use - promoting the cultivation of potato onion

The aim is to increase the variety of onions in the market. Especially we aim to enhance the availability of the traditional Finnish onion, potato onion, as a special vegetable, having added value in aroma, health-promoting compounds and cultural value. We will choose the most interesting accessions which will be offered to cultivation. Information material will be published to support cultivation and use.
