Resource-efficient vegetable production

The projcet aims to improve the resource efficiency in the production of field vegetables. We develop the nutrient management, soil fertility and crop rotations on vegetable farms and study the methods for reducing the storage losses of carrot and onion.

The project is carried out in cooperation with research and advisory organisations and farmers. Field and farm experiments, workshops and study tours are organised. Economic calculations and guidebooks will also be published.
