monitoring of the state raindeer pastures

To investigate for main parts the amount, condition and usability value of the reindeer winter pastures during 2016-2019 and to evaluate causes for the changes in the amount and state of winter pastures during last decades. Produce versatile knowledge and data during 2020-2021 for developing the use of reindeer pastures.

There will ne produced the knowledge on the present amount, condition and usability value of reindeer winter pastures and information on the causes of the changes in the amount and state of winter pastures. The study report on pastures has been published on June 2019. During 2020-2021 there will be produced additional knowledege and data as well as publications on the quality and usability value of winter pastures as well as information on causes for their changes.
