The goal of this project is to provide information for decisions concerning the organizing the data acquisition in Finland in future. The goal is to assess the optimal investment in forest raster data production for the society as a whole, taking into account the benefits the information produces for different actors in the field.
Conceptual and mathematical models of relevant decision problems and the uncertainty in the forest resources information needed. Analysis of the dependency of the benefits on the uncertainty.
