Goals

The main objective of the project is to promote cost-effective ways to combat listeria in the food industry by comparing the costs and benefits of various control measures and by promoting the identification of sustainable and productive strains.

Outputs

The project provides information on the economic viability of various risk management methods, costs of listeria, L. monocytogenes strains characteristics, trapping paths, persistence and adaptation in the food production chain, and provides training for researchers and others interested in GWAS methods in particular.
