The project defines development scenarios for Nordic and European wood based bio-economies and examines the role and linkages of the forest sector and use of forest resources in/with the European energy and climate policies. The research includes assessment of the position of biofuels and other novel wood-based products in the sectors development.
Also, we advance modeling techniques for the work above.
