Developing pilot accounts for marine, freshwater and urban ecosystems and packaging materials. SYKE is the coordinator and Luke is the partner. Luke is responsible for valuing the marine and inland commercial fishing and recreational fishing related ecosystem services by using statistical data and results from previous valuation studies. Luke participates in developing the compilation of ecosystem services account in regards to fishing and exploiting fish resources. In the project, the production of marine and inland ecosystems services accounting is piloted as part of the System of National Accounts. New valuation methods are being tested for producing the ecosystem services account using statistical data, results from previous valuation studies and from previous ESTAT project.
