Circular bioeconomy

The global economy consumes more natural resources than is sustainable within the limits of the earth’s carrying capacity. The need for and consumption of natural resources has been estimated to increase and the availability of raw materials to decline. The challenge for the programme is to use renewable resources and raw materials wisely and sustainably.
