Are you excited about multidisciplinary, innovative, and international work? Are you a profound expert in your research field? We are looking for a research professor to strengthen Luke’s research on agricultural water conservation and sustainable agricultural production.

The research professor focuses on conducting high-quality research and creating a scientific basis for agricultural water protection and sustainable agricultural production.

A research professor is expected to have a doctoral degree in hydrology, applied ecology, soil or agricultural science, or a similar discipline. Successful completion of the tasks requires strong methodological skills in soil physics and water chemistry. It is particularly important for the applicant to have a high-quality scientific publication record. In addition, we expect the applicant to be an expert in applying organic and/or inorganic chemistry and to have knowledge of soil physics and agricultural hydrology.

In addition to these, we require the applicant to have, among other things, good interaction skills as well as international academic management skills and the ability to apply extensively for external funding. We expect the candidate to be able to conduct empirical research and collaborate with clients, and to actively participate in science communication and science dissemination.


The position begins on 1 June 2022 and have a fixed term of five years.
