Are you a profound expert and innovator in your research field? Is your focus in working for sustainable use of natural resources? Luke is seeking for three new research professors.
The research professorships focus on sustainable use of ecosystem services and natural resources, and their management and conservation in changing environmental conditions. Central research areas are the sustainability of food production, plant health in a changing climate, and the ecology of pest insects in forest ecosystems.
The applicants are expected to have a doctoral degree and a strong track record in a relevant field. The position also requires a clear vision to develop the research field, strong methodological skills, capacity to procure long-term, broad-based research funding, strong national and international networking skills, and interest in and capability of communicating and disseminating research results.
The positions begin on 1 January 2020 and have a fixed term of five years.
