In this project, biodiversity of polypore species will be investigated in urban forests. This project will provide new knowledge about the potential of urban forests as biodiversity hotspot areas, focusing on polypore fungi. The results will have potential for being incorporated into guiding future city planning and land use to further develop and manage urban forests as biodiversity hotspots.
