Hormonal crosstalk network controlling lignin biosynthesis in Norway spruce

The transcriptome data of Norway spruce will be utilized with a specific focus on hormonal regulation of lignin biosynthesis. In addition, some laboratory work will be conducted to complement the in silico data.
The work will improve the knowledge on complex regulation of lignin biogenesis in Norway spruce. This knowledge is beneficial to further improve the quality and/ or productivity of the wood.
