Development leap in silvicultural operations

The main aim of the project is to improve the cost-efficiency of soil preparation and forest regeneration with efficient use of new operational models and to enhance the productivity in young stand operations with optimal timing of operations in the whole chain of silvicultural actions and with introducing new technological innovations in mechanical young stand management.

The main method in the project is to do R&D work together with practice and research. In these tasks all actors in the silvicultural service chain (forestry professionals, entrepreneurs, forest owners) will get information and new knowledge trough lectures, demonstration and field excursions. The newest research results in the field of forest regeneration and young stand management will be disseminated in the practice.
