Project takes a holistic approach in comparing the different alternatives of using tree bark in animal husbandry. Farmers benefit the innovations by enhanced animal health when tree bark products are used as bedding material and as feed supplement. Feed industry is able to sell feed supplements produced from tree bark and dairy and meat industry may further benefit the concept in product marketing. The research contributes to the sustainable and circular bioeconomy.
